Flying to Edinburgh
Edinburgh International Airport is 12 kilometres (8 miles) from the city centre. There are frequent direct flights from most UK airports, over 30 European destinations and North America. There are frequent bus links to the city centre and a good supply of taxis.

It is also practical to fly into Glasgow Aiport which offers further flight options. It takes approximately 2 hours to travel from Glasgow Aiport to Edinburgh city centre.

Please note that for international delegates, it may be more convenient and cost effective to fly into cities such as Amsterdam, Frankfurt or Paris to get a connecting flight to Edinburgh, rather than flying into London Heathrow.
