Edinburgh Castle Reception

Over one thousand years of history sits on top of the famous Edinburgh Rock, where the Castle dominates the city. Edinburgh Castle is home to Scotland's Crown Jewels, 'The Honours of Scotland' which are the oldest regalia in the British Isles. They comprise a crown, a sword and a sceptre, all of which date from the 15th & 16th Century. Edinburgh Castle is also home to the Stone of Destiny, revered as a holy relic and fought over by the Scottish and English for 700 years. Drinks and canapés will be served in this spectacular setting. Please note this is an outdoor event, so please dress accordingly and wear comfortable footwear. There is a steep hill to climb to get up to the Castle, so delegates with walking difficulties should let the Secretariat know when booking if they will need assistance.
