Accompanying Guest Tours
We invite accompanying guests to sample some of the beautiful countryside and history that Scotland has to offer by participating in our suggested tour programme. A half day tour of Edinburgh is included on the morning of Monday 17th May, but guests may wish to purchase some additional tickets for the following tours:
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs
Tuesday 18th May
Departs EICC at 0930 hours, returning 1730 hours
From Edinburgh travel to Stirling with it’s imposing castle and then head westwards to Callander. From Callander we drive into the Trossachs, which is a scenic area of lochs and mountains. After climbing the Dukes Pass we will shortly arrive in the small village of Aberfoyle, where we can visit a Woollen Mill. Later we make our way to Loch Lomond, to enjoy a cruise on the loch, before returning to Edinburgh.

Malt Whisky Tour – the water of life
Wednesday 19th May

Departs EICC at 0930 hours, returning 1300 hours
From Edinburgh we travel southwards to the pretty village of Pencaitland, where we visit Glenkinchie Malt whisky distillery. After a tour of the distillery there is a “wee dram” to sample a taste of the finished product, before having the chance to visit the specialist whisky shop.

St Andrews - Home of Golf
Thursday 20th May
Departs EICC at 0930 hours, returning 1730 hours
Discover the home of golf and much more besides. After leaving Edinburgh we cross the River Forth to enter the Kingdom of Fife. We will stop in the scenic fishing village of Anstruther, before arriving in St Andrews. On arrival there will be an orientation tour of the town. After lunch there will be plenty of free time to explore the grounds of the ancient university, the castle or Cathedral, visit the Old Course and British Golf Museum, or simply shop!
